Question: Where’s the best place to live in Florida?

There is no shortage of Florida cities to live and prosper, so we wanted to find out the best place to live in Florida. We decided to ask our loyal fans, here’s what we got:

Space coast is my home. Best of both worlds, I have the “old Florida” feel, but if I drive 30 minutes I can be in Daytona or Cape Canaveral. -Hilary O’Brien
Highlands County believe it or not. I’m on a lake and I love the beauty, the wildlife, and the quiet. -Kathy Wilds
Moved to Navarre in January. This is one of the best kept secrets in Florida. Beautiful beach without all the tourist trappings the rest of the redneck riviera has. After living in North Alabama for 30 years and growing up in San Diego and Virginia Beach by far this is the best place if you want to live near the beach. -Dave Anderson
Martin County, specifically, Jensen. It’s quiet, close to the beach and Stuart. It’s calm its beachy, everyone is chill and friendly. No matter where I go I can find a Publix, Post office, stores etc. and everyone is in a good mood. How can you not be? We live in paradise!!! But, don’t spread the word about our awesome little town. –Tiffany Milidantri
Bradenton!!! I love the proximity to beautiful beaches, the people who make up this wonderful community, the old Florida feel, amazing food, the Manatee river, and Manatee High School! –Lisa Budslick
Pinecrest Florida….beautiful trees, home in big lots of land and a beautiful small city seconds away from Miami, Miami Beach, Coconut Grove and the Keys. –Evelyn Grau
My beautiful, and historic, hometown… St. Augustine! Always been here, always will be here. Love my town! –Leah Stables

Tallahassee. Not only has all the things a capital city usually has, we’re only a half hour from the Gulf, several State Parks, etc. We also have some of the nicest people! –Kathee Coughlin
Hudson Beach has incredible sunsets… I can’t imagine not living within 5 minutes to the beach… People who live inland are truly missing out –MaryJane Bunns
St. Petersburg. Love the beaches, there is a lot to do, and beautiful parks –Carol Giovannelli
Isle of Capri, Treasure Island FL. I live on a channel with lots of wildlife in my backyard. God greets me with a beautiful sunrise most mornings, the people are the best locals and snowbirds alike. Peaceful, quiet and serene yet close to everything! –Norm Flowers

As you can see, there are varying opinions on the best place to live in Florida, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.

  1. Orlando is the best place. Yes there’s tourists obviously the most iconic place in Florida, but it’s much more than that. It’s all green and you cannot beat that Florida feel mix with north and south Florida. Best mix you may ever get, and can’t get anywhere else.
